Sibley — Graveside services for Clara E. Nichols, 76, of Sibley, who died Jan. 18, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Monday from Freeman Family Cemetery in Sibley.
Visitation will be from 1 until 2:30 p.m. on Monday at Laird Funeral Home on Union Street.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nichols was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Oct. 5, 1931. She was the daughter of Leon W. and Lucille McCain Eschberger.
Mrs. Nichols was an educator for 40 years, with a deep love for teaching. She retired from ACCS after spending 10 years there.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her daughter Nicki N. Freeman and her husband, Warren of Sibley; a son Alvin Lamar Nichols Jr. and his wife, Marilyn of Park City, Utah.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, Warren Freeman Jr., Walt Freeman, Nick Nichols and Marla Kaye Nichols.
The pallbearers will be Warren Freeman Sr., Warren Freeman Jr., Walt Freeman, Alvin Lamar Nichols Jr., Nick Nichols and Maurice Songy.
