NATCHEZ – Services for Lawrence Odell Hardin, 51, of Natchez, who died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Dean officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hardin was born Nov. 2, 1956, in Natchez, the son of Albert Hardin and Laura Reed Hardin. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Cylynthia Stumps; two granddaughters, Aniya Yates and Iyanna Jenkins, all of Natchez; two sisters, Vera Cain and husband, Robert, both of Park Forest, Ill. and Marilyn Dean and husband, the Rev. Walter Dean, both of Markham, Ill.; three brothers, Arthur Reed and wife, Edna, both of Natchez, Robert Lee Reed of Kenosha, Wis. and Michael Hardin of Milwaukee, Wis.; and a number of other relatives and friends.
