BROOKHAVEN – Services for Kenneth “Dean” Leggett, 49, of Brookhaven, who died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, will be at 1 p.m. today at Riverwood Funeral Home Chapel in Brookhaven.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, in Natchez, under the direction of Riverwood Funeral Home in Brookhaven.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mr. Leggett was born Sept. 12, 1958, the son of Willie Leggett and Alice Montgomery. He attended Adams County Christian School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He was employed as a drilling completion foreman. He attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Mr. Leggett served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Cecelia Leggett.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Leggett; two sons, Jason Leggett and fiancé, Charmagne Portier, and Daniel Leggett and fiancé, Amanda Dayton, all of Brookhaven; one daughter, Andrea Tillman and husband, Randall, both of Brookhaven; one sister, Angela McGuffie and husband, Ricky, both of Brookhaven; seven grandchildren, Dylan Leggett, 3, Sandra Portier, 3, Bralynn Leggett, 2, Jaidyn Leggett, 1, Tyler Tillman, 8, Alyssa Tillman, 4, Shooter Tillman, 11 months, all of Brookhaven; nephew, Matt McGuffie of Brookhaven; maternal grandmother, Nettie Cranfield of Natchez; stepfather, Gray Montgomery of Vidalia; and a number of cousins and friends.
