NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Services for Malvin “Tip” Tipton, 62, of Sherwood, Ark., who died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, will be at 10 a.m. today at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Mr. Tipton was a self employed tradesman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Doss and Viola Tipton; two brothers, Charles and Arnell Tipton; and one sister, Virginia Faye Tipton.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Bettie “Pollard” Tipton of Sherwood; two daughters, Michelle Smith and husband, David, both of Pine Bluff, Ark. and Caron Culvey and husband, Greg, both of Sherwood; five brothers, Doss Tipton Jr. of Mayflower, Ark., Morris Tipton of Petal, Lynn Tipton of Pineville, La., Darryl Tipton of Hayes, Kan., and Randall Tipton of Blueye, Mo.; one sister, Marilyn Hawes of Vicksburg; two grandchildren, Zachary Smith and Bailey Smith, both Pine Bluff, Ark.; and two grand-puppies, Brandi and Sierra Blaze.
