FERRIDAY — Services for Clinton H. “Sonny” Guillory, 79, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, in McComb, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Guillory was born Aug. 28, 1928, in Laurel Hill, La., the son of Clinton and Mary Guillory.
He had been a resident of Vidalia for over 60 years and was of the Catholic faith. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Jack McGowan Co. in Jackson.
Mr. Guillory was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Delores Frances Guillory and Stephanie Guillory Forman; and a son, Tony Guillory.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Guillory of Vidalia; two sons, Danny Michael “Tee” Guillory of Ferriday and Clinton H. “Pete” Guillory of Vidalia; daughter, Kristi Lynn Guillory of Vidalia; 10 grandchildren, Tony Guillory and wife, Debbie, Steven Guillory, Joey Guillory and wife, Jessica, Lori Guillory Froust, Dustin Guillory White, Mellissa Nugent and husband, Lonnie, Brad Guillory and wife, Lori, Shane Geoghagen and wife, Melinda, A.J. Firmin, and Kellye Braley and husband, Todd; 21 great grandchildren; and his best friend, Wallace Firmin.
Pallbearers will be Brad Guillory, Terry Robinson, Joey Guillory, Lonnie Nugent, A.J. Firmin and Josh Guillory.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike McCarty, Al Firmin, Jacob Sikes and Shane Geoghagen.
