Gloriastean Lewis Bell

CLAYTON — Services for Gloriastean Lewis Bell, who died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie T. Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow at Clayton Garden of Rest under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Monroe.
Ms. Bell was born Feb. 15, 1940, the daughter of Julia Lewis Johnson and Martin Carter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Kay Bell and husband, Terry and Willene Davis and husband, Fredrick, all of Natchez; two sons, Jessie Bell and wife, Earlene, both of Clayton and Anthony Charles Lewis and wife, Bobbie, both of Natchez; one step-son, Jessie Wilson and wife, Pommie, both of Las Vegas; one god daughter, Nicole Williams of Natchez; one special aunt, Josephine Daniels of McComb, six brothers, Samuel Johnson and wife, Margueritee, both of Natchez, Jerry Johnson and Paul Johnson, both of Houston, Freddie Johnson of New Orleans, Melvin Carter and Ricky Carter, both of Natchez; two sisters, Dorothy Carter and Jesse B. Carter, both of Natchez; four grandchildren, Schweidia Bell and Delandro Bell, both of Natchez, Illyasha Hawkins of Ferriday and Robert James Bell of Houston; two step-grandchildren, Denischeo Davis of Natchez and Bobby Ray Davis of New Orleans; special friend and neighbor, Marjorie Davis of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
