NATCHEZ – Services for Maggie Mae Starks, 82, of Bude, who died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church, in Natchez, with the Rev. Luther Bonds officiating.
Burial will follow at Meadville Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Starks was born April 12, 1925, in Meadville, the daughter of Willie Lee and Van King.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Curtis.
Survivors include her children, Joenell Johnson, Essye Starks, Linda Starks, all of Milwaukee, Wisc., L. C. Starks Jr., Patricia Harris and husband, David, all of Bude, Van Starks of Meadville and Sandra Edwards and husband, Karl, both of Natchez; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be sons, grandsons and sons-in-law.
