GLOSTER – Services for Nellie McDonald Jackson, 94, of Crosby, who died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at Roseland Cemetery, in Gloster, under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jackson was born June 5, 1913, in Jefferson County, the daughter of John McDonald and Nannie Elizabeth Smith McDonald. She was a former store owner. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Plymouth Primitive Baptist Church in Gloster.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Jackson; four sisters, Elsie Cobb, Nannie Kinstley, Annie McKey and Mattie Turnage; and three brothers, Hugh, Sid and John McDonald.
Survivors include four daughters, Elsie Sumrow, Nina Foster, Ruby Ford and Kay Nelson; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
