NATCHEZ – Services for Chadrick Raythell Hamilton, 30, of Vicksburg, who died Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Smithland Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Ford Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hamilton was born Dec. 9, 1977, in Natchez, the son of Rayfield Vaughn and Delrae Hamilton Felton. He was a graduate of Westbury High School, class of 1995, in Houston. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Hamilton was employed with International Paper Company in Vicksburg. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mattie Brown Hamilton; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hamilton Sr. and Josephine Brown.
Survivors include his mother and husband, Enos Felton, both of Natchez; his father and wife, Peggy Vaughn, both of Crosby; one brother, Charles Hamilton of Natchez; two sisters, Cameatris Payne and husband, Leonard, both of Natchez and Felicia Hamilton of Itta Bena; grandfather, Charlie Hamilton and wife, Shirley, both of Natchez; four paternal brothers, Rayfield A. Vaughn, Rayfield Vaughn Jr., William Vaughn and Adrin Brown; seven paternal sisters, Mary B. Cobb, Tangela Jenkins, Rachel Vaughn, Kathy Kappard, Chiquitta Vaughn, Donna Vaughn and Kerry Vaughn; five aunts, Diane Mason and husband, Samuel, Inez Sweazer, Lesia Hawkins, Juanita Quinn and husband, Michael, and Jacqueline Ford and husband, the Rev. Ernest Ford Jr.; one niece, Asia Jones; his fiancée, Cheryl Clark of Natchez; and a number of great-uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Gary Knight, Steve Dunbar, Glen Young, Ricky Fleming, Anthony Clark, Fidel Clark, Tony Clark, Terry Gaines, Michael Green and Ronnell Cooks.
