Harry Seeger

FAYETTE – Services for Harry Lewis Seeger, 75, of Fayette, who died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fayette United Methodist Church with the Rev. Laurie Rayborn officiating.
Burial will follow at Fayette Cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home in Fayette.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the church.
Mr. Seeger was born Sept. 25, 1932, in Fayette, the son of Harry and Mary Lewis Seeger. He attended school in Fayette and attended the University of Mississippi where he played football for the Ole Miss Rebels. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed with BellSouth for 38 years. Mr. Seeger was an active member of Fayette United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Mark Seeger.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Peggy Butler Seeger; one son, Chris Seeger and wife, Wedia, both of Leland, N.C.; two daughters, Kim Segrest and husband, Johnny, both of Natchez, and Susan Cangemi and husband, Mike, both of Fayette; four grandchildren, Brad Seeger, Chris Seeger, Kyla Cangemi and Michael Cangemi; one sister, Mary Ann Brumfield and husband, Donald, both of Baton Rouge; one brother, Charles Wayne Seeger and wife, Diann, both of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Donald Brumfield, Jason Seeger, Brian Seeger, Kilbert Paz, Joseph Doerfler and Chris Marchand.
