NATCHEZ – Services for Mary Ruth Perry, 57, of Natchez, who died Monday, March 17, 2008, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, in Alexandria, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Triumphant Seventh Day Adventist Church with Curtis Hall officiating.
Burial will follow at Lagrange Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ms. Perry was born June 2, 1950, in Natchez, the daughter of Annie B. Hawkins and Davis Perry. She was a hair stylist and a cook. She enjoyed styling hair, spending time with her family and friends, and reading. She attended Triumphant Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Perry, Arrick Hawkins and Edward L. Hawkins; and granddaughter, Ariyanna Perry.
Survivors include one son, Stacey Perry and wife, Jennifer; two grandchildren, Stacey Perry Jr. and DaKimberly Perry; 15 siblings, Vernon Perry, Claude J. Hawkins, Farrin Hawkins, Troy L. Hawkins, Thomas M. Hawkins and wife, Janet, Oliver D. Hawkins, Errick Hawkins and wife, Latasia, both of LaVista, Calif., Clara M. Hawkins and husband, Ray Clark, Joyce M. Butler and husband, Charles, Sarah J. Carter and husband, Robert, Cheryl D. Hawkins, Janice Hawkins, Vanessa Clay and husband, James, Nicole Hawkins and Michelle Hawkins; five aunts, Mattie L. Hawkins of New Jersey, Carrie Washington and friend, Caesar, both of Natchez, Jessie B. Martin and husband, J.C., both of Louisiana, Matilda Pinto and Lorraine Mitchell, both Carson, Calif.; two uncles, James Hawkins and James Perry; 25 nephews, 15 nieces, 17 great-nephews and six great-nieces.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Bailey, Tarri Carter, Charles Marsaw, Timothy Hooker, Gerald Wiley, Alfred Holt and Nicholas Hawkins.
