NATCHEZ – A memorial Mass for Thomas Michael “Mike” May will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Catholic Church, on Morgantown Road, with the Revs. David O’Connor and John Brock officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mike was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and was a life-long resident of Natchez. He was self-employed in the paint and body shop business for many years in Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his father, Julius A. May; paternal grandparents, Sam and Emma May; maternal grandparents, William and Lorraine Ellis and Murray Price Daniels; one sister, Mary Sandra May; and a special uncle, Prentiss Lewis.
Survivors include his wife, Kellie Smith May; two children, Lindsay Michelle May and Thomas Michael “Cody” May Jr.; one stepdaughter, Sally Page Farish, all of Vidalia; his mother, Maxine Burkett; four sisters, Pat Williams and husband, Tommy “Blackie”, and Cathy Roberts, all of Natchez, Ann Breazeale and husband, Bob, both of Baton Rouge, and Elizabeth May of Jackson; two brothers, Julius A. “Bubba” May Jr. of Natchez and Stephen Phillip Burkett and wife, Tammy, both of Vidalia; 16 nieces and nephews, David Williams, Vanessa Peterman, Andrew Peterman, Julian Jacks, Brandon Perkins, Bradford and Brighton Perkins, Kristin Foster, Logan Foster, Payden Pressgrove, Dylan Pressgrove, Justin May, Stratton and Cara May, Melissa May and Stephen Phillip Burkett Jr.; special aunt, Annie May Lewis; and a number of aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
