BUDE — Funeral services for Simmie Brown, 78, of Bude, who died Monday, March 24, 2008, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Marshall Funeral Home, in Bude.
Visitation will be noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon Monday until time of services.
Burial will follow at Swearington Cemetery in Amite County.
Mr. Brown was born Oct. 10, 1929, the son Jim and Nancy Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and three brothers.
Surviors include son Larry Brown, of Germany; sister Lucenda Swearington, of Smithdale; one granddaughter; one great-grandson and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
