NATCHEZ – Services for Mamie B. Dunmore, 80, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dunmore was born June 2, 1927, the daughter of Phillip and Worree Bowie. She was a Baptist and a member of the Household of Ruth. Mrs. Dunmore enjoyed cooking and caring for her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ronald Dunmore; and four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include four children, Maurice Dunmore, Rita Dunmore and Thomas, all of Natchez, Edwrina Hunt and husband, Cleveland, both of Monroe, La., and Michel Dunmore and wife, Roslyn, both of South Holland, Ill.; one sister, Floria Jones ; special cousin, Jessie Jackson; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
