NATCHEZ – Services for Prettie Mae Washington Brown, 66, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at St. Dominic Hospital, in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Windy Hill No. 2 Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Wright officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown was born July 3, 1941, in Natchez, the daughter of Eddie Washington and Estelle Malone Washington. She was a housewife and a member of Windy Hill No. 2 Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, Pearline Betty Hutchins, Ethel Brown, Herman Washington and Augustine Green.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence E. Brown Sr.; two sons, Henry J. Brown of Cameron, N.C., and Clarence Brown Jr. and wife, Brenda, both of Natchez; two daughters, Christine Goldman and husband, Calvin C., both of North Wales, Pa., and Melissa Williams and husband, James, both of Natchez; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives and friends.
