NATCHEZ – Services for Leonard Edward “Pig” King Myles, 54, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. today at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Services are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Mr. Myles was born May 14, 1953, the son of Rosie Lee McGowan and Charles Edward King. He was a former employee at Gaylor’s Garage. He was a Baptist. Mr. Myles enjoyed attending church and being with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Charles King Jr.; grandparents, Leonard Myles and Cordelia Fort Myles; and stepfather, David Jackson.
Survivors include his mother; three sisters, Patricia Thomas and husband, Terry, both of Bossier City, La., Cordelia Jones and husband, Joseph, and Judith McGowan; four brothers, Aaron Brown, Harry Myles, David McGowan and Tommie Jackson; a number of nieces and nephews including, Kelvin Myles and wife, Rosetta, both of Natchez and the Rev. Terry Myles of Fort Hood, Texas, Catina Proby and husband, L.J., both of Wichita Falls, Texas and the Rev. Terry Myles of Texas.
Pallbearers will be Troy King, Londell Williams, Kelvin Bradford, Eric Dunham, Joseph Jones and Terry Thomas.
