FERRIDAY – Services for John Wesley Mize, 39, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Reed, of Pascagoula, officiating.
Burial will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Mize was born June 4, 1968, in Newellton, La., the son of John Wesley Mize I and Sharon Lindle. He was a farmer and a member of Calvary Faith Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandfather, Clinton Mize; and maternal grandparents, John Wesley and Elizabeth Turner.
Survivors include his mother; three sons, John Wesley Mize III of Ferriday, Jake Mize and John Mize, both of Monroe, La.; one daughter, Megan Mize of Texas; one sister, Denise Morris of Newellton; grandmother, Maxine Mize of Waterproof, La.; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be uncles and friends.
