FERRIDAY – Services for Mary Bateman Bishop, 81, of Ridgecrest, who died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Camelot Leisure Living Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Preston Holder officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bishop was born Nov. 4, 1926 in Franklin County.
She was a resident of Ridgecrest, a homemaker and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Lee Partridge; her mother, Gruda Higginbotham Partridge; her husband, Albert J. Bateman; and a sister, Velma Cantrell.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Bishop of Ridgecrest; a daughter, Brenda Joyce Ford; a sister, Charlene Partridge; grandchildren, Scott B. Ford, Mark Allen Ford and Dawn Michelle Rollins; great-grandchildren, Hope Renee Rollins and Daryle Thomas Rollins; and several nices.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
