NATCHEZ – Services for Ray Jones, 65, of Natchez, who died Friday, May 16, 2008, at Adams County Nursing Center, will be at 3 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Brother Steve Bullion officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was born April 16, 1943, in Fayette, the son of Thomas Jefferson and Katie Lee Jamison Jones. He was a roofer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Sikes Jones; and two brothers, Thomas Jones Jr. and Billy Jack Jones.
Survivors include one daughter, LaDonna Jones Morrow and husband, Jim, both of Fort Worth, Texas; two stepsons, Tommy Sikes and John Sikes, both of Natchez; one sister, Faye Cater and husband, Elmer, both of Natchez; two grandchildren, Thomas and Kathleen Morrow, both of Fort Worth; one special aunt, Velma Jamison of Natchez; and special friend, Alonzo “Skutter” Bernard of Natchez.
Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
