RUSTON, La. – Services for Laughn W. Massey, 82, of Choudrant, La., who died Monday, May 19, 2008, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Oden officiating.
Burial will follow at Choudrant Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Massey was born Feb. 5, 1926. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Ruston. He retired from Chevron Oil Company after 40 years of service. Mr. Massey served in the U.S. Army and received the Purple Heart. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Addie Johnston Massey; one daughter, Joan Suggs and husband, John; two grandchildren, Stephanie Renee’ Suggs and Ryan Christopher Suggs, all of Fort Worth, Texas; and sister-in-law, Nellie S. Massey of Ruston.
Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church, in Ruston, or to a charity of choice.
