NATCHEZ — Though the food at the Food Pantry is given to the needy for free, one person did not realize that.
Five bags of groceries were stolen from the Food Pantry Tuesday night, Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said.
Mullins said entry was gained through the back door, which was kicked in.
The incident was reported to the police department Wednesday morning, Mullins said.
There are currently no suspects and the charge would be burglary of a business.
Mullins said anyone with information pertaining to this incident should call Crimestoppers at 601-442-5000.
