NATCHEZ – Services for Annie Ruth Mayberry, 69, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 27, 2008, at Adams County Nursing Center, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Beginnings Baptist Church, St. Peter Rock location, with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.
Burial will follow at Leedale Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Miss Mayberry was born Nov. 30, 1938, in Adams County, the daughter of Leroy and Mary Lee Mayberry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Nathaniel and Homer Mayberry; and one sister, Betty Jean Mayberry Washington.
Survivors include her loving and caring niece, Salina Edwards and husband, Joseph, both of Natchez; one sister, Pauline Ford and husband, Johnny, both of Locust Grove, Ga.; six brothers, Gerome Wells, Johnny Lee Mayberry, Rayford Mayberry and wife, Shirley, and Daniel Mayberry, all of Natchez, Oscar Mayberry and wife, Edna, both of Atlanta, and David Mayberry of Stockton, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Mayberry of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
