Good morning. Since 2002 the City of Natchez has leased the Dixie Boys baseball field from Covington Road Church of Christ. The Natchez Recreation Department maintains this field at no cost to the church.

Recently part of the chain link fence that borders Buddy Bennett Road was damaged.

After a phone call was placed to department employees the fence was repaired in a timely manner.

Many thanks to The Natchez Recreation Department Director Ralph Tedder, coach Wilbert Whitley and to all of the employees of their department for having the fence repaired and for maintaining the field for use by the community.
