OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — A judge has ordered Zach Scruggs, the son of lawyer Richard “Dickie” Scruggs, to report to federal prison on Aug. 15 to serve a two-year sentence.

The younger Scruggs had hoped that U.S. District Judge Neal Biggers Jr. would delay his reporting date so he could be home for the birth of he and his wife’s third child.

On Thursday, Biggers ordered Zach Scruggs to report on Aug. 15.
