NATCHEZ – Services for Pamela L. Jackson, 38, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Baptist Church with Bishop Stanley Searcy officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1:30 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
Ms. Jackson was born May 22, 1970, in Adams County, the daughter of Bernice Cole and Richard Jackson. She was employed as a cashier and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Jackson Jr.; and grandparents, Catherine Jackson, Florence Compton and Vivian Cole.
Survivors include one son, Gejuan Jackson; three daughters, Ashley Jackson, twins, Antoria Jackson and Latoria Jackson; mother, Bernice Cole; father, Richard Jackson and wife, Sadie, all of Natchez; grandfather, Johnny Jackson of Church Hill; five sisters, Brenda Searcy and husband, Bishop Stanley Searcy, Kecia Anderson and husband, Anthony, Nevelyn Chatman and husband, Willie, Racheal Hickombottom and husband, Albert, and Rose Washington and husband, Jarvis, all of Natchez; three brothers, Johnny Jackson and wife, Sonjagela, Michael Jackson and wife, Sharon, Anthony Jackson and wife, Cecelia, all of Natchez; five aunts, Jean Hawkins and husband, the Rev. John Hawkins, Esther Foster and husband, Willie, Johnnie Marie Herrington and husband, William, and Georgia Jackson, all of Natchez, and Mamie Lee Hayes and husband, Albert, both of New Orleans; two great-aunts, Florence McCoy, of Chicago, and Ella Cole of Natchez; one great-uncle, Joseph Jackson of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Anthony White, Walter Calvit, Willie Tryee Thomas, Sherman Gibson, Bobby Gibson and Randy Bates.
