Vidalia Police Chief Tapper Hendricks said Kerry Brooks, 31, allegedly abducted his former girlfriend from a gas station in Vidalia in late-July.
In that incident, Brooks allegedly followed is ex-girlfriend into the Continental convenience store, carried her out of the store and put her in his vehicle at which point he led Vidalia Police on a chase into Ferriday.
Once in Ferriday Brooks escaped on foot.
He was arrested on Sunday in Ferriday.
