NATCHEZ – Services for Alma Walker, 61, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, in Sibley, with the Rev. James E. Brooks officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ms. Walker was born Nov. 5, 1946, in Natchez, the daughter of Walter and Lizzie Thompson Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include one son, James C. Walker and wife, Brenda; two sisters, Jessie Robinson, all of Natchez, and Debra Davis of Savannah, Ga.; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
