VIDALIA – Services for John L. Banks, 58, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Baptist Church, in Vidalia, with the Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Banks was born July 5, 1950, in Natchez, the son of Emeal Reese and Lucinda Brown Banks. He was employed as an auto mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, William Banks.
Survivors include his mother; two sons, Irmease Banks, of Southaven, and Christopher Johnson of Natchez; two sisters, Maxine Jones and Delores Robinson, both of Vidalia; two aunts, Alberta Banks and Corine Brown; two uncles, Albert Brown and Prince Brown, all of Vidalia; and three grandchildren.
