VIDALIA – Services for Leonard Dee Hooker, 48, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at Rapids Regional Hospital, in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Stephen Baptist Church in Vidalia.
Burial will follow at Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Hooker was born July 20, 1960, in Newellton, La., the son of Clara Hooker White and Robert Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Irene Tyler and Lula Tyler; and his grandparents, Louis and Maggie Hooker.
Survivors include four daughters, Brittany Hooker, Kayla Hooker, Ashley Hooker and Rebecca Hooker; one son, Christopher Hooker; four sisters, Maggie Moore, Shirley Jones, Gloria Blaine, Kathy Warner and Sharon Webster; three brothers, Percy Ransom, Woodie Hooker and Joseph Ray Hooker; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
