Come one, come all, Washington grads

Are you saying to yourself, “I can’t believe it has been around 50 years since I attended Washington High School?”

Believe me, the years have flown by, and we don’t need to let another year pass without getting together again to reminisce about all the wonderful memories we have stored in our minds and hearts.

The Washington High School Class of 1958 is planning their 50th reunion with an added event we are calling a “homecoming.”

This will include anyone that attended Washington at anytime, in any grade that would like to visit with us. If you were a student but unable to graduate this would include you too.

Washington School was located in Washington, and, until the late 50s, was operated as a separate school district from the Natchez schools. The last class to graduate from there was in the early 60s.

Our school years were filled with many friends from all grades and this homecoming will give us all a chance to catch up on old acquaintances.

The homecoming will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Woodmen of the World building on Morgantown Road. Light refreshments will be provided. Admission will be $5 per person to help cover expenses.

We hope you will make plans now to join in celebrating some of the best years of our lives — those spent together at WHS!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone and don’t forget to tell your old Washington friends about the homecoming.
