Funeral services for Kathleen Louise Barr, 58,who died Friday, Oct. 10 2008, at Natchez Region Medical Center will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David O’Conner officiating. Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street.

Barr was born Jan. 31, 1950, in Natchez, the daughter of Walter Carter and Leona Burns Carter. She was a member of St. Mary Basilica Catholic Church.

She was proceeded in death by her father; one brother, Walter Charles Carter; and one daughter, Candace Michelle Barr.

She is survived by her mother; one brother, Pat Carter and wife Angie, both of Natchez; one daughter, Leigh Ann Barr Byrne of Natchez; one son, Joey Barr of Natchez; four grandchildren, Daniel Zeagler, Mollie Whitehead, Edwin Byrne and Tyler Gill; one great-grandchild, Mariah Gill; three nieces, Jennifer Carter, Melissa Carter and Allison Carter.
