Delight your ears this Thursday

Good morning music lovers!
There is a treat in store for us when Vladimir Zaitsev — Russian concert pianist and music entertainer — is presented in concert at the Concordia Bank in Vidalia at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Vladimir is a one-man show and will present us with dazzling piano work and vocal renditions in a mixture of light classical favorites and popular sensations.
He is an award-winning piano virtuoso and versatile entertainer with a sense of comic style at the piano reminiscent of Victor Borge.
The Concordia Parish Library leads the way to this music enjoyment through the Louisiana Division of Arts, Office of Cultural Development and by the diligent work of Concordia Parish Librarian Amanda Taylor.
This program is made possible through a black booking with the Louisiana Presenters Network.
How fortunate we are to have such an imaginative librarian who is constantly seeking music talent and other cultural arts for our education, advancement and enjoyment.
Amanda is always seeking new and innovative ways to enrich our lives through these grants administered by the Arts Council of Central Louisiana.
This and all other concerts at Concordia Bank through this program are free and open to the public.
Many thanks to Amanda and Concordia Bank of Vidalia for hosting the concerts. Thanks are also due to Comfort Suites Riverfront Hotel for their local sponsorship, and all the many others who work hard in Concordia Parish to bring these wonderful artists to our area. So mark your calendars for 7 p.m. Thursday for an evening of music!
