VICKSBURG – Services for Fatina L. Johnson, 46, of Canton, who died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Canton Manor in Canton, will be at 11 a.m. today at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Father P.J. Curley officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Miss Johnson was a native of Natchez and lived in Vicksburg for many years, living at Canton Manor for the past year.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Joyce Ann Hollingsworth and Fred James; maternal grandparents, Marvin E. and Effie A. Dampier; and one uncle, David Scott.
Survivors include five brothers, Anthony James, Walter A. “Butch” James and Prentiss D. “Coon” James, all of Vicksburg, Fred E. James of Charlestown, Ind. and Waylon Carroll James of Denham Springs, La.; three sisters, Ann Whitehead of Vicksburg, Gislea L. “Dee” Delanoix of Baton Rouge and Christy Gayle Morgan of Meridian; one uncle, Marvin Dampier and wife, Jo, both of Vicksburg; three aunts, Wanda Callen and husband, John, both of Vicksburg, Juanita Scott of Tampa, Fla. and Darlene Smith and husband, Robert, both of Vidalia; and one cousin, Tracy Evans of Vicksburg.
Pallbearers will be Chris Callen, Robert Smith, Donald Bertelson and Ben Dampier.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Canton Manor, Providence Hospice of Vicksburg, Dr. William Wooten and Dr. Robert Sadler.
