CASEYVILLE — Funeral services for Artie Mae Thomas, 86, of McCall Creek, who died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, were 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Caseyville.

Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thomas was born Aug. 20, 1922, in Eddiceton, the daughter of Louis Keys and Rachel Louise Davis Keys. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.F. Thomas; her parents; two sisters, Helen Keys and Bertha Keys and son-in-law J.W. Johnson.

Survivors include three daughters, Murkule Marie Johnson of Quentin, Irene Bryant of Brookhaven and Irma Jean Johnson of Chicago; two granddaughters, Shelia Smith and husband, Randy, of Bunkley and Tanya Kirk and husband, Geoffrey, of Riverdale, Ga.; two grandsons, Micheal Johnson and wife, Ora Lee, of Bunkley and John Wayne Johnson of Quentin and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
