Bodies found in burned out car

STARKVILLE (AP) — Police believe bodies found in a burned out car in Kemper County are of two Starkville men missing since Oct. 29.
Starkville police Capt. Frank Nichols says the car was found Wednesday in wooded area in south Kemper County.
Nichols says 20-year-old Xavier Monroe and 21-year-old Preston Smith haven’t been seen since they left Starkville for Meridian on Oct. 29. The two were traveling in a black 2005 Kia Spectra.
The burned car has been identified as a Kia.
Nichols says autopsies have been ordered to identify the victims. He said the investigation is continuing.
