FERRIDAY – Services for Don Stacker, 57, of Waterproof, La., who died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at noon Friday at Concordia Funeral Home with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.
Burial will follow at Myrtle Grove Cemetery, in Waterproof, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Stacker was born Feb. 13, 1951, the son of Oscar and Beulah Stacker. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Leroy, Oscar Jr., Truman, Charlie and William; and two sisters, Victoria Cotton and Maple Washington.
Survivors include one daughter, Angela Stacker; three brothers, twin, Dan Stacker, Ezell Stacker and wife, Lena, and Thomas Stacker, all of Kansas City; one sister, Betty Stacker of Tallulah, La.; and four grandchildren.
