NATCHEZ — Any parties wanting to purchase Natchez Regional Medical Center must have their bids submitted by 5 p.m. this evening.

The Adams County Board of Supervisors determined who would be present when the bids were open during the executive session portion of their Monday meeting.

After the meeting, hospital board attorney Walter Brown said it was decided that he, hospital CEO Scott Phillips and the supervisors’ attorney Bobby Cox would meet at the supervisors’ office to review the bids this evening.

Brown said after reviewing the bids Phillips would discuss his findings with all of the supervisors at a later meeting.

Brown said there was no established timeline to review the bids with the supervisors because it’s still not known how many bids will need to be reviewed.
