VIDALIA – Services for Amelia “Lil Bit” Bradley, 102, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Triumph Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bradley was born Feb. 22, 1906, in Vidalia, the daughter of Thomas and Selina Lee Bradley. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cora Lee Washington Smith; one sister, Mary Lee Bell; two brothers, Richard and Edward Keys; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Washington and Clarence Arrington Jr.; and one great-grandchild, Wilbur Arrington.
Survivors include seven grandchildren, Willie J. Arrington and wife, Bertha, both of Baton Rouge, Richard Washington, Gerry D. Ellis, Damus Smith Jr., David E. Washington, all of Vidalia, Lionel Smith and wife, Barbara, both of Houston, Texas, and Eddie L. Smith and wife, Shelia, both of Shreveport, La.; two step-grandchildren, Doris Johnson of Houston and Thelma Long of Vidalia; 18 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-grandchildren; two nieces, Gloria Singleton and husband, Durant, both of Lake Providence, La. and Lourenza Singleton of Mansfield, Texas; two nephews, Earl Lewis and wife, Doris, both of Lake Providence and James Singleton of Mansfield; 19 great-nieces and nephews; 13 great-great-nieces and nephews; four great-great-great-nieces and nephews; life long friend, Elijah “Home Boy” Willis of Ferriday; and one godchild, Ruby Lee McCoy Dominique of Atlanta.
