NATCHEZ – Services for Lillian V. Jones, 88, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 29, 1920, the daughter of Jus Rudolph Vaughn and Annie Sue Butler Vaughn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dewitt H. Jones; one daughter, Judith Lynn Jones Null; and one brother, Billy Vaughn.
Survivors include three grandchildren, John Null Jr. of Jackson, Jana L. Chapman of Bristol, Va. and Justin D. Null of Florence; six great-grandchildren, Trey Miles, Audrey Lofton Chapman, Georgia Chapman, Charles Chapman, Austyn Holmes and Peyton Null.
Pallbearers will be Davis Bunch, Kenny Carlton, Derry Hardin, John Parker, Fred Rogers and Roy Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Ezell, Dunbar Bunch and Hal Hicks.
