FERRIDAY — The Ferriday Christmas parade will be 10 a.m. Saturday.

Lineup will begin at 9 a.m. at Ferriday High School.

The parade — which will be themed “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” — will proceed down E.E. Wallace Boulevard, at Louisiana Avenue until it reaches First Street and will travel down First Street until it reaches Kentucky Avenue, at which point it will return to the High School.

The Ferriday Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the parade, and the grand marshal will be the Ferriday Garden Club members.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the best floats in the small and large float categories. For more information, contact the chamber at 318-757-3904.
