VIDALIA — After temperatures dipped into the 30s in the pre-dawn hours, coupled with rain and sleet, Concordia Parish Sheriff Randy Maxwell advised motorists to use extreme caution on parish roads and highways today.

No road closures have been enacted, but icing conditions were noted on a bridge at Louisiana 129 at Louisiana 906 in the Monterey area.

The Mississippi River Bridge at the Natchez-Vidalia pass is open to traffic.
