Cleopatra Graves

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Cleopatra Graves, of Kalamazoo, Mich., died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, in Kalamazoo. Memorial services with the Jehovah Witnesses will be announced at a later date.
Ms. Graves was born May 28, 1930, in Natchez, the daughter of Ernest and Clara Chaney Smith.
Survivors include one daughter, Gwendolyn Jefferson and husband, Harvey, both of Lansing, Mich.; two grandchildren, Kevin Graves and Kimberlee Smith; one great-granddaughter, Kayden Smith; one brother, Lee Raymond Smith and wife, Jannie, both of Panama City, Fla.; one sister, Clara Harper of Natchez; one cousin, Sondra Ross; and a number of close nieces, nephews and family friends.
At the request of Ms. Graves, cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are under the direction of Avink Funeral Home Cremation Society Schoolcraft.
