BROOKHAVEN — Services for Maybell Richardson, 97, of Brookhaven, who died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, in Brookhaven, were 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial followed at Easthaven Cemetery under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home.
Mrs. Richardson was born July 27, 1911, in Winnsboro, La., the daughter of Dan Sullivan and Lizzie Richardson Sullivan. She was a housewife and was a member of Brookway Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Richardson Sr.; one son, Danny Richardson; and one daughter, Joan Idom.
Survivors include one son, John Richardson and wife, Willie Del, both of Brookhaven; two daughter, Lucille Farris and husband, James, and Mary Ann Barker and husband, James, all of Brookhaven; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Johnny Farris, Jamie Farris, David Richardson, Jeff Richardson, Jimmy Barker and Richard Barker.
