ST. JOSEPH, La. — Two teams were going in opposite directions Tuesday night as the Vidalia Vikings put their 10-1 record on the line against the winless Tensas Parish Panthers.

Even with some of Vidalia’s players not able to play in this game, the Vikings still had no problem defeating the Panthers 90-65 thanks in large part to a 53-point outburst in the second half.

The first half turned out to be a bit of a struggle for Vidalia as it led just 18-9 after one quarter of play and 37-26 at halftime. But the Vikings were able to get things going in the third quarter and that helped them pull away. They outscored Tensas Parish 22-11 to up their lead to 22 points.
