Alexander receives his committee assignments

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-Quitman, La., received his subcommittee assignments for the House committee on Appropriations for the 111th Congress. Alexander will serve on the subcommittee on energy and water development, the subcommittee on labor, health and human services, education, and related agencies, and will retain his seat on the subcommittee on agriculture, rural revelopment, food and drug administrations and related agencies.
In addition to his seat on the powerful appropriations committee, alexander will keep his key seat on the house committee on the budget.
