The teenage subject allegedly sprayed perfume on the sleeping victim before lighting the perfume on fire at approximately 1:45 a.m., the statement said.

The victim was transported to a specialized burn unit Friday afternoon.
The 14-year-old suspect was charged with second-degree aggravated battery, and the incident remains under investigation.
