Board of aldermen meeting postponed

NATCHEZ — With several city officials in Washington, D.C., the Natchez Board of Aldermen meeting has been postponed.
Mayor Jake Middleton, Alderman Bob Pollard, City Engineer David Gardner and Tourism Director Connie Taunton are attending various meetings this week.
The meeting was scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday but has been pushed back to 11 a.m. Feb. 17.
The board was supposed to open bids for a $650,000 loan for the road overlay project, but the deadline has been pushed back to Feb. 17, as well.
