The two men were allegedly stealing tires from a residence when police were called after one of the suspects was seen running with a tire between Virginia Avenue and Tennessee Avenue, Ferriday Officer Jim Boren said.

When he was arrested, McCray allegedly told police his name was “Terry,” but was charged with resisting an officer by giving false information after the booking officer at the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office recognized him, Boren said.

McCray’s bond was set at $75,000, and Morales’ bond was set at $5,000.
