RAYVILLE, La. — Services for G. Grant Walters, 57, of Fort Smith, Ark., formerly of Rayville, La., who died Monday, March 9, 2009, in Fort Smith, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, in Rayville, with the Rev. Jimbo Herring officiating.
Burial will follow at Lynn Cemetery in Archibald, La., under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Walters was born May 15, 1951, in Rayville, the son of Wiley and Cleo Walters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild, Bryce Gardner; and one brother, Robert Walters.
Survivors include three children, Timothy Walters and wife, Joy, and Amy Gardner, all of Oak Grove, La., and Melissa Rosa of Eagle Pass, Texas; four grandchildren, Katie Walters, Alla Gardner and Roland Gardner, all of Oak Grove, La., and Sergio Rosa of Eagle Pass, Texas; three brothers, Alvin Walters, William Walters and Gordon Walters, all of Rayville; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Spencer, Ricky Wilcher, Jason Walters, Dylan Walters, Robert Paul Walters and Ralph Evans.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Joe Walters, William Loyd Walters and Gordon Walters.
