NATCHEZ — Services for Sam “Bo Sam” “Ninnie” King, 64, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, in Sibley, with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. King was born March 8, 1945, in Adams County, the son of William King Sr. and Elnora Mitchell King. He accepted Christ as his personal savior in March 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, William King Jr. and Claude King.
Survivors include a devoted wife, Delilah F. King; three daughters, Samantha Grinnell, Sabrina Grinnell and Varnese Francis, all of Natchez; five sons, Cedric King and wife, Kenyata, both of Jackson, Tranthony King, Isiah Francis and James Francis, all of Natchez, and Sam King Jr. of Florida; two stepchildren, Shemeka and Brian Grinnell, both of Natchez; two brothers, Ernest W. King of Wichita Falls, Texas and Eddie King and wife, Jeanette, both of Natchez; five sisters, Birdie K. Wade and husband, Wilbert, and Ruth King and husband, Charles, all of Natchez, Mary K. Dennis of Woodville, Lillie B. Mazique of Sibley and Edna M. Phipps and husband, OW, both of Tampa, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 12 nieces; three nephews; one uncle; five aunts; other relatives and friends.
